Strikers still continue unbeaten streak with a thrilling 1-1- draw!

“We were just missing the final pass on a couple of chances,” said head coach Daryl Shore. “We were the aggressor tonight and it’s frustrating. Soccer is funny because you can have a team on their heels and one chance, and you go down 1 - 0.”

Strikers add Haitian international Jean-Philippe Peguero and up and coming Colombian Yoximar Granado to boost frontline.

"Sir" Martyn Lancaster #27

Peguero is a player that can add leadership qualities to our team and will hopefully be another player who’s going to score goals for us,” said Head Coach Daryl Shore.

Peguero, 29, began his career with Haitian club Don Bosco in 2002 before joining the Colorado Rapids of MLS. Peguero played two seasons for Colorado, before signing with the New York Red Bulls for the 2006 season. Strikers srimmage Theiry Henry, Rafael Marquez and Juan Agudelo and the rest of the Red Bulls.

Considering the talent on the field for the Bulls, the Strikers fared pretty well. If you also consider that the Strikers have been training for less than 1 week and the Red Bulls have been training for over a month. They did an excellent job! Most impressive was the sight in the stands! It really looks like the Strikers are back and this time you can feel that its real.
